Turkish formal and bridal hijab style

I love the creativity of the different styles of hijab wraps they make at Ayse Kuafor. As you might remember, I have posted about these wonderful formal styles earlier, here and here. Well, they have got some new pictures up, which are worth checking out if you need inspiration for the next wedding party or formal occation (sorry for the red water marks right across every picture).

I love the way the scarves are wrapped here, and the colors too (the green color is fab). Although the “cakey” dresses are not my favorites, I love the red dress (have something very close to it, just way less tight)…

Then, if you trust your wrapping abilities and is getting married soon, or if you are just dreaming, check out these wedding wraps:

CUTE! I want to attend somebodys wedding… Like right now!!!! Playing dress up is fun. And all that food is not bad either.¬†What do you think? Would you try any of these styles?

Kuala Lumpur Islamic Fashion Festival 2nd day – Wedding style

Here are some pictures found on various blogs (here, here¬†and here) of fashion the 2nd day of the Islamic Fashion Festival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The second show was a bridal theme show as you can see from the pictures, for us that don’t have anything against mixed¬†wedding parties¬†this¬†could¬†be of interest:

Although none of these gowns would be my first choice, I¬†think the¬†gown on the first picture¬†looks adorable. The others are not me at all, but not too bad either…

The first and the last outfits here look good!

What do you think about the IFF Kuala Lumpur 2008 so far. Is it fulfilling your expectations or is it disappointing?

Wedding Abaya

Salma, one of my dear readers, requested some bridal abayas. Although I would reccomend you to get your wedding abaya tailor made, here’s what I found around the net;

How I want this abaya from Arabian Nites. It’s not made for weddings especially, but looks beautiful and can be ordered in any color.

These beautiful bridal abayas are from al Sundus. I love the first one!

These abayas are from Islamic Boutique, Lebaas and Al Hijaab. The one in the middle from Lebaas is my favorite here.

From Abiye.net, two gorgeous gowns (or abayas). I love the 1st one, although I don’t think it’s very much an abaya.

These two from Al Yashmac are not really for weddings, but I’m sure you can use them for inspiration.

Which one do you like the most? Would you wear a normal white dress or an abaya? Or something different? What do you think is the best match for hijab?
